EYE-SEE-ALL: FROM HISTORY TO PRESENT:Eye-see-all was founded back in 2004, when I didn't even know about dA's existence and by people I never met
In around 2007 I joined dA and joined this group after discovering my love for eyes. I don't quite remember if I asked her or she asked me, but there was a woman running this club on her own after the founders had lost interest and I offered to help, since the club wasn't very active. I remember her telling me she got about 10 deviations a month. So I was eager to help one of my favourite eye clubs get back on it's feet again. Sadly she almost immediately disappeared, leaving me to handle the club all by myself
Back then managing a club was terrifying, with all the notes piling up, having to resubmit in smaller size with watermarks, warnings and threats to all those evil club-favers.. Oh so much drama. Well, lacking a subscription, I tried my best to promote the members of the club with news features, contests and journal features on my main account, but the club still wasn't getting enough recognition and most of the members seemed uninterested. So in addition with some personal issues, I got fed up one day and kinda quit on the club until the "Groups" feature came along
It was such a pleasant surprise since dA always said that they didn't support clubs as a feature and they weren't willing to help for a long time
Some people may ask why I didn't ask for any help managing the club, well I did think of it and I was also a moderator in other clubs along with many other people and I saw that it gets too confusing, there are misunderstandings and then comes the drama.. So I decided that I've worked way too hard on this club to let anything like that ruin it (and I'm kind of a control freak

)
So here we are again today, after a while of been partially inactive, I've decided to do more stuff for the club again. I've started organizing the gallery by making folders for each category, which I'm still working on filling. I've also slightly changed the rules: portraits are no longer accepted, I want the club's gallery to look nice by focusing strictly on eye macros and not whole faces. And I have given more rights to members and contributors to have more of a sense of community. I'm also planning to have news features for the club members soon and maybe a contest, though I can't give any cool prizes like subs

I am open to suggestions/ideas/opinions/questions/discussion from anyone. Also feel free to tell me about anything important I forgot to mention in here. Other than that keep creating, have fun and keep an eye out for changes

RULES & GUIDELINES:
All join requests are auto-accepted.

We accept macros/closeups which are focused on the eye. No portraits.

1 deviation per person per day.

Ok no more folders, because people are taking advantage and posting tons of deviations in a day to different folders. That was not the deal guys.

We do accept eye stocks, but not tutorials. You can however suggest your tutorial to the group's favs.

No WIPs/screenshots please.

No credit, no upload! If it's stock, mention it. If it's not stock but you have special permission, mention it. If it's not stock and you don't have permission, it won't be accepted and you will be reported ( I love making art thieves cry

). If it's your own eye/friend's eye/grandma's eye mention it. A few more words in your "Artist comments" make all our lives easier

Link back to the actual deviation, not just the artist's profile page. I don't want to search their whole gallery to find the image.

Don't just credit the eye, but also any textures and brushes that have been used. A lot of deviations have been declined for lack of these and it really is a shame.

If you leave the group, your deviations will be removed from the gallery. If you leave, you can come back once, that's it. Continuously leaving, removing/resubmitting deviations wont be tolerated.

Continuously ignoring the rules will result in your being removed from the group.

Only upload your best work. I know we are not all experts or professionals, but uploading a blurry or pixelated closeup of your eye has no artistic value and will not attract people to your gallery. This goes for all means of art of course. Be sure that the more effort and time you put in your art, the more it will be appreciated

CONTRIBUTORS:
You have been chosen to be a contributor for these reasons: You were a member way back when we were a club and I know you or you have contributed a lot to the group and I trust the quality of your deviations and that you will follow the rules.

Submissions will be auto accepted, so I expect all of you to respect the rules

You can vote on incoming affiliation requests.

You can invite people to the "Members" group.

I have left the right to submit to folders for the contributors. But please remember: 1 deviation per day for
1 folder.

Please don't propose for favs people that are already members, including yourselves. Also the same rules as deviations go for favs: EYES ONLY

I have removed the right of proposing and voting on favs because of contributors continuously proposing themselves and the rest of the contributors accepting even when I ask them not to.
Big thanks to my friend
